Abstract
Anxiety is one of the common responses experienced by patients after undergoing surgery, including post-fracture surgery patients. This anxiety can slow down the healing process and reduce the patient's quality of life. Spiritual support such as dhikr and prayer is believed to be able to provide inner peace and reduce anxiety levels. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of spiritual therapy of dhikr and prayer on the level of anxiety of post-fracture surgery patients in the work area of Ambulu Health Center, Jember. The study used a case study method with a qualitative approach in two patients with a medical diagnosis of fracture and anxiety symptoms. The intervention given was in the form of spiritual therapy by guiding patients to dhikr and pray regularly for three consecutive days. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, filling out anxiety questionnaires (STAI), and checking vital signs. The results showed that there was a decrease in anxiety levels from moderate to mild in both patients. This decrease was also followed by improvements in vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse, as well as increased sleep quality and emotional calm. Spiritual therapy has been proven effective as a non-pharmacological intervention in overcoming anxiety in post-fracture surgery patients. It is hoped that this therapy can be integrated into nursing care to support holistic healing of patients.
