STUDI KASUS PENANGANAN PASIEN DENGAN KADAR ASAM URAT TINGGI DI UPTD WISATA KESEHATAN JAMU (WKJ) KABUPATEN TEGAL

Abstract

One type of degenerative disease is high levels of uric acid in the body. Due to the accumulation of purines in the joints, increased uric acid can cause complications from other diseases. The aim of this research is to determine the treatment of patients who seek treatment at WKJ Tegal. This type of research is qualitative. The results of this research include: the treatment carried out at WKJ for patients with high uric acid was assessed and evaluated, there were nutritional consultations related to nutrition for gout patients, reducing foods that contain lots of purine, including beans, nuts, kale, spinach. and given concoctions from medicinal plants, After evaluating the patient who was used as an informant after consuming the concoction from WKJ, there was a change, that the symptoms felt when high uric acid had decreased, the symptoms experienced by the patient were pain in the right knee, left leg pain, soles of the feet pain, as evidenced by an acid check. uric acid whose value shows a figure above 7.0 mg/Dl, the scale of pain felt has also decreased, initially the patient's pain scale was in the range 7-8, meaning severe pain after consuming the concoction, dropping to the range 1-3, meaning mild pain, for that reason Uric acid also decreased. The conclusion is that after treating patients with high uric acid, there are better changes.
