ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA DAERAH DI PANTAI GEMAH KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the regional tourism development policy at Gemah Beach, Tulungagung Regency, and evaluate the effectiveness of its implementation on the growth of the local tourism sector. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation involving stakeholders such as the Tourism Office, tourism business actors, and local communities. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the tourism development policy at Gemah Beach includes infrastructure improvement, promotion, and community empowerment. However, its implementation faces challenges such as lack of inter-agency coordination and limited funding. The main conclusion is that tourism development at Gemah Beach holds great potential, but requires strengthened stakeholder synergy and sustainable strategic planning to support a competitive tourism sector.
