Analisis Wazan Fi'il pada Surah Al-Qiyamah: Telaah Morfologis
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the wazn fi‘il (verb pattern) in Surah Al-Qiyamah using a qualitative approach based on library research. This approach enables the researcher to deeply explore the morphological structures of verbs by relying on the Qur’anic text and classical Arabic linguistic sources, without engaging in field observation. The primary focus of this research is to identify all verb forms found in each verse of Surah Al-Qiyamah and classify them according to their morphological patterns (wazn) and grammatical structures (past tense, present tense, imperative, passive, etc.). The analysis reveals that the verb patterns employed in this surah serve not only grammatical functions but also carry significant semantic and rhetorical weight. Specific morphological forms are shown to express the intensity of meaning, the authority of the Divine, the weakness of human beings, and the inevitability of the Hereafter. For example, passive forms such as yuf‘alu and yunabba’u reflect the helplessness of man before God's will. The study concludes that understanding verb morphology in the Qur’an is crucial for uncovering the semantic and spiritual dimensions of its verses. This kind of linguistic analysis enriches both Qur’anic interpretation and the practical learning of Arabic, and it contributes to the development of Qur’anic linguistic studies in academic contexts.
