Abstract

Nahwu is one of the important elements in Arabic. So is understanding it. Therefore, the teacher's duty is to ensure that students can understand it correctly. One of them is using a teaching method. The method used must be effective and not watch so that it does not make students feel bored and result in the failure to achieve the objectives of the learning. One method that can be used is the cooperative method. So this study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using cooperative learning methods on improving the ability to learn nahwu in class III students of MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Husna Bagan Batu Riau. The approach used is a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group design type and using statistical data. And the t-test value is the value of t_0 = 1.180 which is smaller than the value of t_t = 1.674. So with this result (H0) the null hypothesis is accepted and (Ha) the alternative hypothesis is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is no effect of cooperative learning methods on improving the ability to learn nahwu in class III students of MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Husna Bagan Batu Riau.
