STUDI LITERATUR: STRATEGI DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN YANG EFEKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA

Abstract

          Literasi matematika adalah suatu kemampuan yang sangat diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan di era abad ke-21. Namun, berdasarkan hasil riset global seperti PISA dan TIMSS, tingkat literasi matematika di kalangan siswa Indonesia masih berada pada level yang rendah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai strategi dan metode pengajaran yang dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Metode yang diterapkan adalah kajian pustaka dengan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dari berbagai artikel ilmiah. Temuan dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang berfokus pada konteks, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PJBL), serta Mixed Learning terbukti berhasil dalam meningkatkan literasi matematika. Selain itu, strategi seperti REACT, MURDER, pendekatan etnomatematika, dan penggunaan media interaktif mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini juga menyarankan untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dan menerapkan pembelajaran yang berbasis pada konteks yang nyata guna memaksimalkan literasi matematika

          Mathematical literacy is an indispensable skill for navigating the challenges of the 21st century. However, global research results, including PISA and TIMSS, indicate that the level of mathematical literacy among Indonesian students remains suboptimal. The objective of this article is to provide an analysis of various teaching strategies and methods that have been demonstrated to be effective in enhancing students' mathematical literacy skills. The methodological approach entails a systematic review of pertinent literature, accompanied by a descriptive qualitative analysis of diverse scientific articles. The findings of this review demonstrate that context-focused learning methods, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PJBL), and Mixed Learning have proven effective in enhancing mathematical literacy. Furthermore, pedagogical strategies such as REACT, MURDER, ethnomathematics approaches, and the integration of interactive media have been shown to enhance the learning process. The article further proposes the integration of digital technology and the implementation of context-based learning methodologies to optimize mathematical literacy.
