ANALISIS MAJAS PERBANDINGAN PADA LIRIK LAGU “SEMUA AKU DIRAYAKAN” DAN “SORAI” KARYA NADIN AMIZAH

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the form and function of comparison in the lyrics of the songs "Semua Aku Dirayakan" and "Sorai" by Nadin Amizah. The background of the research is based on the importance of stylistics in revealing the power of aesthetic and emotional expression in song lyrics as a form of contemporary poetry. The method used is qualitative descriptive with documentation techniques for the two lyrics chosen as data sources. Data is analyzed by identifying, classifying, and interpreting lyrical quotes that contain comparisons, especially personifications and metaphors. The research results show that the two songs use comparisons dominantly to strengthen thematic meaning and emotional atmosphere. Personification is used to bring natural elements and abstract concepts to life, while metaphors serve to describe inner experience imaginatively. The use of those majas not only beautifies the language, but also deepens the thematic message about self-acceptance and sincerity. The research knot confirms that the choice of language style in Nadin Amizah's song lyrics is a conscious artistic strategy, which enriches the beauty and meaning of lyrics as a modern literary work.
