ANALISIS PERAN LEMBAGA PERLINDUNGAN SAKSI DAN KORBAN (LPSK) DALAM PROSES PERADILAN PIDANA TERHADAP KORBAN TINDAK PIDANA PEMERKOSAAN

Abstract

The Witness and Victim Protection Institution is an institution that is tasked and authorized to provide protection and other rights to Witnesses and/or Victims. The protection provided is all forms of efforts to fulfill rights and provide assistance to provide a sense of security to Witnesses and/or Victims which must be carried out by the Witness and Victim Protection Institution. The main topic of writing is to examine the role of the Witness and Victim Protection Institution in a criminal justice process against victims of rape. The writing method used is qualitative. Qualitative writing methods. This qualitative method focuses on an in-depth understanding of a phenomenon through descriptive data, such as interviews, observations, or document studies. The result of this study is that the Witness and Victim Protection Institute (LPSK) in the criminal justice process against victims of rape is an institution that is tasked and authorized to provide protection and other rights to Witnesses and/or Victims, especially in this case Victims of Rape. Protection for Victims of Rape aims to provide a sense of security to victims in providing information in every criminal justice process so that the judicial process can run well.
