Main Article Content
Abstract
This research analyzes the conflict between Indonesia's strong patriarchal culture and the values of Pancasila, particularly in relation to women's human rights. A systematic literature review method was used with the keywords “patriarchal culture,” “Pancasila values,” and “women's human rights,” reviewing journals, books, and policy documents. Results show that patriarchal culture causes discrimination and violence against women, contrary to the principles of justice and humanity of Pancasila. Despite national and international commitments to gender equality, patriarchal norms hinder effective implementation. The study recommends education, policy reform, socio-cultural transformation, and the active role of men as allies to realize a just and equal society according to Pancasila values.
