Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Department of Transportation of Serang Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, in which data were collected through observation, documents, reports, publications, and narrative information from relevant employees and leaders. The results. show that employee performance fluctuated during 2024, with a significant decline in the first quarter and improvement in the mid-year, particularly in August and October. Employee job satisfaction was categorized as "moderately satisfied", with the highest scores found in coworker relationships and supervisory support, and the lowest scores in salary and promotion opportunities. These findings indicate that work discipline and job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance. Therefore, value-based management, effective communication, and the development of a participatory work culture are essential to create a productive and high-performing work environment. Purpose. To determine the influence of discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Department of Transportation of Serang Regency.
