PEMBERIAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI INTERVENSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HARAPAN HIDUP RESIDEN DI IPWL BUKIT DOA RUMAHKU REHABILITASI
Main Article Content
Abstract
The issue of substance abuse is often accompanied by low life expectancy and motivation in individuals undergoing rehabilitation. This Field Work Practice (PKL) aims to describe a social work intervention through motivational support provided to a resident at IPWL Bukit Doa Rumahku Rehabilitasi. The method used is individual social work practice (case work), consisting of assessment, planning, intervention, monitoring, and termination. The intervention was designed based on Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory and implemented through three sessions: educational material delivery, reflective activities, and the provision of positive affirmations. Evaluation results indicate that motivational support significantly improved the client’s sense of hope, self-confidence, and enthusiasm to build a better future.
