PEMBERDAYAAN KELUARGA DHUAFA (KELUARGA BAPAK MUSTAR)

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is a very large Islamic organization in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah is known as a modern Islamic reform organization. In essence, one of the main foundations of the Muhammadiyah movement is the theological power of the Al Ma'un surah taught by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, the founder of Muhammadiyah. Al-Ma'un surah is the 107th surah and consists of 7 verses and is included in the Makiyah surah group. Etymologically, Al-Ma'un surah means many useful and beneficial assets, goodness and obedience, and zakat. Poverty is a humanitarian problem that hinders welfare and civilization. Amartya Sen, said that poverty is expressed as a deficiency or inability and what can and cannot be done, including material deficiencies, physical disabilities, and social dimensions. Chambers said that there is another group that defines poverty with a broad concept, including multidimensional deficiencies. This poverty describes twelve dimensions that are interrelated and connected to each other. This empowerment activity is very important for the community to increase awareness in helping fellow underprivileged people. This program aims to take several important steps, one of which is observing some of the needs of Mr. Mustar's family, fundraising from the community, providing skills training, and assistance in the form of business capital. In addition to financial assistance, we also provide motivation, coaching, and support for the business that Mr. Mustar's family wants to run. In this activity we can ease the burden on Mr. Mustar's family.
