Abstract

Desa Losari Tegalrandu, Magelang, menghadapi masalah keterbatasan air saat musim kemarau akibat berkurangnya daerah resapan dan penebangan pohon di kawasan hutan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, KKN 64 melaksanakan program pengabdian berupa penanaman pohon di kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi sebagai upaya pemulihan resapan dan menjaga ketahanan air desa. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, pemilihan bibit pohon lokal, serta penanaman dan pendampingan pemeliharaan. Sebanyak 125 bibit pohon berhasil ditanam dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif warga, terutama kelompok pemuda desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya konservasi air dan terbentuknya kolaborasi mahasiswa–warga dalam menjaga lingkungan. Program ini menjadi langkah awal pemulihan fungsi resapan yang diharapkan mendukung keberlanjutan ketersediaan air desa di musim kemarau.
