Abstract

Traditional arts face significant challenges in the era of globalization and communication technology, which affects its existence as a cultural identity of Indonesian society. Globalization has shifted traditional arts from ritual and social functions to commercial entertainment commodities. However, multimedia technology offers revitalization opportunities to preserve traditional arts in digital format, expanding their reach, and adapting them to modern contexts without losing core cultural values. This strategy can enhance public appreciation, strengthen national cultural identity, and create creative economic opportunities based on culture. Collaboration between traditional artists and digital creators can be an innovative solution to maintain the sustainability of traditional arts as a culturally relevant and competitive heritage in the global market.
