Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between interactional justice and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among permanent employees in the manufacturing sector. Interactional justice refers to employees’ perceptions of respectful treatment and transparent communication from management. OCB encompasses voluntary behaviors that support organizational functioning beyond formal job descriptions, including altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy, and civic virtue. A quantitative correlational design was employed, and data were collected from 100 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a strong and significant relationship between interactional justice and OCB (r = 0.876, p < 0.01). The findings indicate that the higher employees’ perception of interactional justice, the more likely they are to exhibit OCB. This study contributes to the development of organizational justice and OCB theory and offers practical implications for fostering a fair and supportive work climate.
