Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of Capital Structure and Profitability on Financial Distress in hotel sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. The research employs a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. The data used are secondary data, with a sample of 20 hotel companies selected through purposive sampling. Panel data regression analysis is utilized as the analytical tool, while hypothesis testing is conducted using the F-test and T-test with the assistance of E-Views 12 software. The findings reveal that Capital Structure and Profitability, when considered simultaneously, have a significant effect on Financial Distress. However, when tested individually, Capital Structure does not have a significant impact on Financial Distress, whereas Profitability does have a significant influence on Financial Distress.
