PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN RISIKO PROPERTI PADA TINJAUAN KASUS DALAM PERUSAHAAN INDUSTRI

Abstract

One example of operational risk is property risk, which has the potential to disrupt industrial activities due to damage, such as the loss of physical assets such as machinery, buildings, and factories. This study analyzes the implementation of property risk management in three industrial companies in Indonesia: PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk (2015 fire), Pertamina RU VI Balongan refinery (2021 explosion), and Shopee Express warehouse (2020 flood). The study results show that each company has varying levels of exposure and mitigation strategies, such as weak technical prevention systems, environmental disasters, and disaster mitigation readiness. This study reveals that property risks must be addressed with a systematic and comprehensive, ongoing approach, supported by prevention planning, occupational safety training, hazard detection technology, and insurance, to reduce potential future losses
