STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA RAMAH DISABILITAS TUNADAKSA PADA DAYA TARIK WISATA KAWASAN LUAR PURA LUHUR ULUWATU KABUPATEN BADUNG BALI

Abstract

This study aims to identify what disability-friendly facilities and accessibility are available and analyze tourism development strategies in the form of disability-friendly facilities and accessibility in the Outer Area of Pura Luhur Uluwatu. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. Meanwhile, the determination of informants uses purposive sampling and data analysis techniques using data collection models, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as well as SWOT analysis. The results of this research show that the facilities and accessibility that are disability-friendly for the disabled in the tourist attractions outside the Luhur Uluwatu Temple that are already available are special toilets for disabilities, ramps, and signs and markings. The results show that the position of the Disability Friendly Tourism Development Strategy at the Tourist Attraction of Luhur Uluwatu Temple is located in quadrant I, namely in the SO (strength and opportunity) position. The strategy recommendations given are aggressive and progressive, meaning that the Outer Area of Pura Luhur Uluwatu is in excellent and stable condition so that it is very possible to continue to expand. The strategies offered are 1. Improve digital promotion (official website & Google Maps) to attract more tourists with disabilities, 2. Making free toilets, ramps, and wheelchair facilities as advantages in supporting the manager's plan to make the area disability-friendly, 3. Highlighting the ease of physical access and transportation in disability-friendly counter services, and 4. Development of training programs for officers and staff.
