Abstract
This research introduces Bolu Kemojo, a traditional Riau cake, to university students from various regions in Indonesia. The activity was conducted in a classroom at Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau, Pekanbaru, which serves as a strategic venue for promoting local culinary heritage to the younger generation. Using a qualitative descriptive method with participatory observation and informal interviews, the study found that students responded with enthusiasm, curiosity, and appreciation toward the cultural values embodied in Bolu Kemojo. The introduction of traditional food on campus proves to be an effective tool for cultural preservation and identity reinforcement among youth.
