ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEMISKINAN DAN STRATEGI PENANGGULANGAN DI KABUPATEN BINTAN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty and its mitigation in Bintan Regency. This study is motivated by the high poverty rate in Bintan Regency. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach through observation and interviews with the community and related parties. The results of this study indicate that poverty in Bintan Regency is caused by factors such as low levels of education, limited employment opportunities, limited access to health services, inequality in income distribution, and inadequate geographical conditions and infrastructure. The mitigation strategies that have been implemented in Bintan Regency include social assistance, agricultural seed production programs, and MSME development.
