Abstract
Transition to renewable energy is global urgency driven by climate crisis and commitments to reduce carbon emissions. In Indonesia, private sector involvement in clean energy investment is highly dependent on the effectiveness of public policies. This study to systematically examine impact of implementation the regulatory stability and carbon taxes on renewable energy investment by companies in Indonesia. This research uses literature studies method. Based on research conducted, can be concluded that stability regulatotion plays an important role in creating conducive investment climate. Policy uncertainty, sudden changes in tariffs or incentives, and weak inter-agency coordination are major obstacles for companies in realizing renewable energy investments. Other hand, carbon taxes serve as market signal that encourages companies switch from fossil fuels to clean energy sources. Especially if the policy is implemented consistently and accompanied by supporting incentives.
