PERAN MANAJEMEN KINERJA DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS PROSES BELAJAR MENGAJAR

Abstract
Manajemen kinerja merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam peningkatan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar di lembaga pendidikan. Dengan adanya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pengembangan kinerja secara berkelanjutan, lembaga pendidikan mampu memastikan tujuan pembelajaran tercapai secara optimal. Selain itu, manajemen kinerja berfungsi sebagai landasan untuk memberikan umpan balik konstruktif, mendukung pengembangan profesional, dan memperkuat akuntabilitas guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen kinerja dalam meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar di sekolah, baik secara teoritis maupun empiris. Pendekatan mixed-method digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi dan pengalaman guru serta kepala sekolah di beberapa lembaga pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen kinerja yang baik berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, motivasi guru, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Temuan ini merekomendasikan agar manajemen kinerja diterapkan secara berkesinambungan dan dilengkapi dukungan pengembangan profesional agar pembelajaran semakin efektif dan adaptif terhadap perubahan.

Abstract
Performance management is one of the key factors in enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in educational institutions with continuous planning, implementation, evaluation, and performance development, educational institutions can ensure that learning objectives are achieved optimally. In addition, performance management serves as a foundation for providing constructive feedback, supporting professional development, and strengthening teacher accountability. This study aims to analyze the role of performance management in improving the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in schools, both theoretically and empirically. A mixed-methods approach was used to explore the perceptions and experiences of teachers and school principals in several educational institutions. The research findings show that effective implementation of performance management has a positive impact on the quality of learning, teacher motivation, and student academic achievement. These findings recommend that performance management be applied continuously and supported by professional development to make learning more effective and adaptive to change.
