Abstract
The development of social norms affects the work environment, including management-employee relations. The case of PT AICE, which was criticized for alleged exploitation of female workers, sparked strikes and boycotts, demonstrating the impact of social injustice. This research uses theories such as the Norm Life Cycle and the Triple Bottom Line to analyze the influence of social norms on corporate policies. As a result, companies that ignore social norms risk damaging their image and business sustainability. Therefore, companies must balance profit with employee welfare, CSR and regulatory compliance. Dynamic changes in social norms, driven by technology and public awareness, are both a challenge and an opportunity for companies to adapt. Worker activism and social movements are also pushing for fairer and more sustainable policies.
Perkembangan norma sosial memengaruhi lingkungan kerja, termasuk hubungan manajemen-karyawan.
