PERAN BALANCED SCORECARD DALAM MENINGKATKAN DAYA SAING LOGISTIK GLOBAL: TINJAUAN LITERATUR

Abstract
In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce international market competition, global logistics systems are required to be not only operationally efficient, but also adaptive, responsive, and strategically competitive. Performance measurement is crucial for companies in building and maintaining competitive advantage. One widely used approach to managing and evaluating an organization’s overall strategic performance is the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The Balanced Scorecard was developed by Kaplan and Norton (1992) as a performance measurement framework that adds strategic non-financial metrics to provide managers and executives with a more balanced view of company performance. This article examines the role of the Balanced Scorecard in enhancing global logistics competitiveness through a literature review of previous research. The review results indicate that the Balanced Scorecard perspectives, namely the learning and growth perspective, internal business processes, customers, and finance, play a significant role in supporting operational efficiency, increasing service speed, and strengthening global competitive advantage. The Balanced Scorecard also encourages the formation of a more strategically integrated logistics system that is oriented towards long-term results. These findings provide a conceptual contribution to the development of performance management systems in the global logistics sector and open up opportunities for further empirical research.
