PENGARUH ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN REPUTASI PERUSAHAAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) on firm value, with corporate reputation as a moderating variable in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018 to 2023. The purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence firm value. This study uses secondary data from desire reports and company annual reports with a sample of 51 energy sector companies that meet the sampling requirements, resulting in a total of 306 observations. The analysis was conducted using balanced panel data regression with STATA software. The results of the study indicate that ESG does not have a significant effect on firm value. Corporate reputation also cannot moderate the relationship between ESG and firm value.
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) terhadap nilai perusahaan, dengan reputasi perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan sektor energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2018 sampai dengan 2023. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari laporan keberlanjutan dan laporan tahunan perusahaan dengan sampel 51 perusahaan sektor energi yang mencapai syarat pengambilan sampel, menghasilkan total 306 observasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan regresi data panel seimbang (balanced panel data) dengan perangkat lunak STATA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ESG tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Reputasi perusahaan juga tidak dapat memoderasi hubungan antara ESG terhadap nilai perusahaan.
