IMPLIKATUR PERCAKAPAN DALAM SINETRON ASMARA GEN Z

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the forms of conversational implicatures in the soap opera Asmara Gen Z episode 52. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design is used, where the data is in the form of dialogue excerpts containing indications of violations of Grice's maxims (1975). The data collection technique was carried out using the listening and note-taking method, and data analysis refers to Grice's implicature theory (1975). The results of the study indicate that violations of the maxim of quality are the most dominant type, followed by violations of the maxims of manner, quantity, and relevance and produce various forms of implicatures that affect characterization of characters and the dynamics of relationships between characters.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk implikatur percakapan dalam sinetron Asmara Gen Z episode 52. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif digunakan, di mana data berupa kutipan dialog yang mengandung indikasi pelanggaran maksim Grice (1975). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan catat, serta analisis data mengacu pada teori implikatur Grice (1975). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran maksim kualitas merupakan jenis yang paling dominan, diikuti oleh pelanggaran maksim cara, kuantitas, dan relevansi serta menghasilkan berbagai bentuk implikatur yang memengaruhi karakterisasi tokoh dan dinamika hubungan antartokoh.
