ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS PADA VIDEO YOUTUBE KOMPAS.COM “RATUSAN GURU HONORER DIPECAT, POTRET MINIMNYA KESEJAHTERAAN GURU”

Abstract

The profession of becoming a teacher is a noble choice that is not only used as a job but also a self-service to the country, teachers contribute to improving the intelligence of the nation's next generation. This research uses Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis theory which focuses on text analysis to analyze the Kompas.com YouTube video titled “Ratusan Guru Honorer Dipecat, Potret Minimnya Kesejahteraan Guru”. This type of research is discourse analysis research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the analysis reveal that in the macro structure, the video shows that the main topic raised is the reality of inequality and vulnerability of the honorary teacher status in Indonesia's national education system. The topic elements point to the problem of chaotic teacher governance, data discrepancies in the recruitment process, weak legal protection for honorary teachers, and the lack of welfare guarantees for those who are at the forefront of basic education. In the superstructure, there are three main elements: introduction, body, and conclusion.

Abstrak

Profesi untuk menjadi seorang guru adalah pilihan mulia yang tidak hanya dijadikan sebagai lapangan pekerjaan tetapi juga merupakan pengabdian diri kepada negara, guru berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan generasi penerus bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk yang berfokus pada analisis teks untuk menganalisis video YouTube Kompas.com berjudul “Ratusan Guru Honorer Dipecat, Potret Minimnya Kesejahteraan Guru”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis wacana dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan bahwa dalam struktur makro, video tersebut memperlihatkan topik utama yang diangkat adalah realitas ketimpangan dan kerentanan status guru honorer dalam sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Elemen topik mengarah pada persoalan tata kelola guru yang amburadul, ketidaksesuaian data dalam proses rekrutmen, lemahnya perlindungan hukum bagi guru honorer, serta minimnya jaminan kesejahteraan bagi mereka yang justru menjadi ujung tombak pendidikan dasar. Dalam struktur superstruktur, ditemukan tiga elemen utama, yaitu pendahuluan, isi, dan penutup.
