Abstract
This study aims to describe the self-efficacy of twelfth-grade vocational high school (SMK) students in facing the world of work. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their ability to complete specific tasks, particularly in the context of preparing to enter the workforce. The research used a quantitative descriptive approach. A total of 190 twelfth-grade students were selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a self-efficacy scale based on Bandura’s theory, which includes three aspects: magnitude, strength, and generality. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that students generally had a high level of self-efficacy. Among the three aspects, strength scored the highest, followed by generality, while magnitude had the lowest score. These findings indicate that students possess strong confidence in their abilities, although some still lack confidence when dealing with more complex tasks
