Abstract
This research is entitled “The relationship between employee perceptions and transformational leadership style at PT X”. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between employee perceptions and transformational leadership style. The method used is quantitative with statistical techniques. The data obtained is in the form of numbers and then the correlation test is carried out. Based on the results of Pearson correlation analysis, the coefficient value is 0.706 with a significance (p) of 0.000. These results indicate that there is a strong positive relationship between employee perceptions and transformational leadership style. The significance value is <0.05, which means that this relationship is statistically significant, so there is a significant relationship between employee perceptions and transformational leadership style. For future research, it is recommended to expand the scope of respondents from various industrial sectors and different regions. In addition, the use of mixed methods can be done to gain a deeper understanding of employee perceptions of transformational leadership style.
