ANALISIS PENGARUH INFLASI TERHADAP SUKU BUNGA ACUAN BI DI INDONESIA PERIODE JANUARI 2022 HINGGA JUNI 2024

Abstract

Inflation and interest rates are two important economic indicators that are often the basis of monetary policy in Indonesia. Inflation describes an increase in the price of goods and services in general that can reduce people's purchasing power and cause economic instability if not controlled. On the other hand, interest rates are a monetary policy tool used by central banks to regulate the money supply and maintain price stability. When inflation rises, central banks usually respond by raising interest rates to contain the rate of inflation. On the other hand, interest rates can be lowered when inflation is low to encourage economic growth. The dynamics between inflation and interest rates are an important issue in macroeconomic management, especially in the midst of volatile global conditions.
