MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN VISIONER KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Penelitian tersebut bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menilai pelaksanaan kepemimpinan visioner oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar.  Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur (literature review) dari berbagai sumber yang membahas topik kepemimpinan visioner dan peningkatan mutu. Kepemimpinan visioner dipandang sebagai pendekatan kepemimpinan yang berpusat pada masa depan, yang dapat ditandai dengan kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam menciptakan visi yang menginspirasi, serta dapat menggerakan seluruh elemen yang ada di sekolah tersebut untukberkolaborasisecara kolektif dalam mewujudkan visi yang telah ditetapkan. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner berperan penting dalam menciptakan sekolahan yang kondusif, meningkatkan kualitas profesional guru, serta mendorong keterlibatan seluruh warga sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran. Penerapan kepemimpinan visioner juga terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan memperbaiki efektivitas pengelolaan sekolah. Oleh karena itu pengembangan kapasitas sekolah dalam kepemimpinan visioner menjadi salah satu kunci untuk memperbaiki serta mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar dengan cara berkesinambungan.

This research intends to explore and assess the application related to the visionary leadership framework by the principal in an effort to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature studies (literature review) from various sources that discuss the topic of visionary leadership and quality improvement. Visionary leadership is seen as a leadership approach that focuses on the future, which can be characterized by the principal's ability to create an inspiring vision, and can move all elements in the school to work together to realize the predetermined vision. The study results reveal that school leaders who adopt visionary leadership has a significant function in fostering a supportive environment in educational institutions, improving the professional quality of teachers, and encouraging the involvement of all school residents in the learning process. The application of visionary leadership has also been shown to improve student learning outcomes and improve the effectiveness of school management. Therefore, developing school capacity in visionary leadership is one of the keys to improving and increasing the quality of education in elementary schools in a sustainable manner.
