This research aims to conduct an in-depth morphological analysis of mazj forms in Classical Arabic. Mazj refers to the linguistic phenomenon of merging two or more lexical items into a new single word that is unified in both form and meaning. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using library research methods, supported by structural morphological theory as the main analytical framework. Primary data are sourced from classical texts such as the Qur’an, Hadith, and authoritative lexicons like Lisān al-‘Arab and Tāj al-‘Arūs, while secondary data include modern linguistic journals and morphology references. The findings reveal that mazj is not merely a process of phonological fusion, but also carries strong rhetorical, symbolic, and pragmatic values within Arabic religious, literary, and oral traditions. Structurally, mazj demonstrates specific patterns of phoneme selection and morpheme compression, resulting in concise yet semantically rich expressions. Furthermore, the study compares mazj with analogous phenomena such as blending in English and acronyms in Indonesian, highlighting its unique cultural and spiritual dimensions.
