Abstract

This study aims to determine the attitudes of teachers and employees at SMKN 10 Padang in carrying out their roles as agents of change in the school environment. This role is considered a strategy in encouraging innovation and transformation of work culture in educational institutions. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through a closed questionnaire published to 20 respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a very positive attitude towards the role as agents of change, as indicated by the dominance of the answers "Strongly Agree" and "Agree" in 30 statements. This attitude reflects the readiness to take the initiative, empathize, and be responsible in supporting change in schools. However, there was a little doubt in a small number of respondents which is an important note for strengthening structural support and training. Overall, teachers and employees at SMKN 10 Padang show great potential in advancing the institution through an active role as agents of change.
