Abstract
A digital image is a processed image that can be a two-dimensional representation of an object that contains important data such as color, shape, and size. Basically, images often involve problems such as deformation, unwanted rotation, distortion, or damage to pixels resulting in reduced visual quality. Therefore, image processing is required, especially in the viewpoint of geometry to develop and optimize the appearance of images. Geometry analysis includes spatial manipulation of images such as interpretation, rotation, scaling, and reflection to develop the structure and appearance of images. MATLAB is one of the tools that support image geometry editing because it provides various functions and commands that can be used for pixel-level editing. In addition, MATLAB also provides a GUI (Graphical Client Interface) to help visualize the current process and after processing. This requires the analysis and application of geometry editing methods to improve the display quality of digital images efficiently and effectively.
