Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen aset kantin berbasis cloud computing di Universitas Pamulang guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan optimalisasi pengelolaan aset. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong transformasi digital di berbagai sektor, termasuk fasilitas kampus seperti kantin, yang menuntut efisiensi dan akurasi tinggi dalam manajemen aset. Menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) melalui analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi konseptual, dan evaluasi teoritis berdasarkan studi literatur , penelitian ini mengidentifikasi permasalahan seperti pencatatan manual, kesulitan pemantauan real-time, dan kurangnya pelaporan otomatis. Sistem yang diusulkan memanfaatkan arsitektur Software as a Service (SaaS) untuk skalabilitas tinggi dan akses multi-platform , menyediakan fitur katalog aset digital, manajemen inventaris, pelacakan aset real-time, dan dashboard analitik untuk memantau kinerja operasional kantin. Implementasi cloud computing diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keamanan data, mengurangi biaya infrastruktur IT, dan memudahkan akses informasi aset dari mana saja. Konsep sistem ini dirancang untuk mendukung berbagai peran pengguna, seperti staf kantin dan manajemen universitas, serta menyediakan kerangka kerja yang dapat diterapkan di fasilitas serupa lainnya.

Abstract


This research aims to develop a cloud computing-based canteen asset management information system at Universitas Pamulang to enhance operational efficiency and optimize asset management. The rapid advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including campus facilities like canteens, which demand high efficiency and accuracy in asset management. Employing the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach through needs analysis, system design, conceptual implementation, and theoretical evaluation based on a literature study, this research identifies problems such as manual asset recording, difficulties in real-time monitoring, and a lack of automated asset condition reporting. The proposed system will leverage a Software as a Service (SaaS) architecture for high scalability and multi-platform access, enabling integrated canteen inventory management, asset monitoring, and automated reporting. Cloud computing implementation is expected to enhance data security, reduce IT infrastructure costs, and facilitate easy access to asset information from anywhere. The system concept is designed to support various user roles, such as canteen staff and university management, and provides a comparable framework that can be applied to other similar facilities.
