EFEKTIVITAS PSIKODRAMA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN EMPATI PADA SISWA DI SEKOLAH INKLUSIF

Abstract

Children with special needs are individuals who require specific educational and support services in order to optimize their human potential. Therefore, an appropriate educational system is needed so they can access the same facilities as regular students, one of which is through inclusive education. Inclusive education aims to provide opportunities for both regular students and students with special needs to learn together in the same classroom. However, the implementation of inclusive education still faces challenges, particularly regarding the acceptance of students with special needs by regular students. The lack of understanding of differences among students with special needs indicates a low level of empathy among regular students. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the psychodrama technique in developing empathy among students in inclusive schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Based on the literature review, it is concluded that the psychodrama technique is effective in increasing students' empathy in inclusive school settings.

Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) merupakan individu yang memerlukan pendidikan serta layanan khusus guna mengoptimalkan potensi kemanusiaannya. Untuk itu, diperlukan sistem pendidikan yang sesuai agar mereka dapat memperoleh fasilitas yang setara dengan siswa reguler, salah satunya melalui pendidikan inklusif. Pendidikan inklusif bertujuan memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa reguler dan siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk belajar bersama dalam satu kelas. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, sistem pendidikan inklusif masih menghadapi tantangan, khususnya dalam hal penerimaan siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Rendahnya pemahaman siswa reguler terhadap perbedaan yang dimiliki siswa berkebutuhan khusus mencerminkan rendahnya tingkat empati yang dimiliki. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas teknik psikodrama dalam mengembangkan empati pada siswa di sekolah inklusif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur, ditemukan bahwa teknik psikodrama efektif dalam meningkatkan empati siswa di sekolah inklusif.
