Abstract
The phenomenon of quiet quitting has become a new trend in the modern workplace, especially among Generation Z employees. This phenomenon describes the attitude of employees who only work according to job descriptions without emotional involvement or additional contributions. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and quiet quitting behavior among Generation Z employees at PT X. The research method used is quantitative correlational with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 126 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) by Spector (1985) and the quiet quitting scale adapted from Mahand and Caldwell (2023). The results of data analysis using the Pearson correlation test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.496**, which means that there is a fairly strong positive relationship between job satisfaction and quiet quitting. This means that the higher the job satisfaction felt, the lower the tendency to do quiet quitting. These findings indicate that job satisfaction plays an important role in reducing the behavior of withdrawing quietly from work responsibilities among Generation Z.
