GAMBARAN PERILAKU KELUARGA DALAM PENCEGAHAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KOTA BANDA ACEH
Abstract
Family behavior in preventing stunting in toddlers has a very important effect on the growth and development of toddlers, the duties and roles of family health include caring for and providing support for family members in carrying out the prevention of stunting in toddlers. Poor family behavior can affect the health of toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of family behavior in preventing stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Ulee Kareng Health Center, Banda Aceh City. This study is a quantitative study using a retrospective descriptive method and using a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was
308 respondents with the sampling technique being purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Health Promotion Model (HPM) questionnaire to see the description of family behavior in preventing stunting in toddlers The results of this study indicate that out of 101 respondents, for indicators of family behavior in stunting prevention in previous behaviors that behaved well were 84 respondents (83.2%). The conclusion of this study is that the majority in the working area of the Ule Kareng health center in Banda Aceh City have behaved well. Efforts to increase understanding or knowledge of families in stunting prevention.
