Abstract
Employees at the Class I Port Administration Unit Office in Tobelo possess adequate competencies to support the execution of duties in accordance with maritime regulations. However, improving performance remains a challenge, particularly in relation to motivation and work discipline. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, motivation and work discipline on employee performance. A quantitative approach was used with a population and sample of 55 employees. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire using a Likert scale, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that competence (X1), motivation (X2), and work discipline (X3) simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, with a contribution of 91.1%. The remaining 8.9% is influenced by other variables outside the model, such as commitment and work environment. The most dominant factor affecting performance is employee competence. These findings imply the importance of enhancing competence through training, as well as strengthening motivation and work discipline to support the effective execution of duties and the optimal achievement of organizational goals.
