Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in districts/cities in East Java in 2022. The results of the analysis showed that HDI had a significant effect on economic growth, with a positive regression coefficient of 0.210 and a significance value below 0.05. The relationship between HDI and economic growth is moderate and positive with a correlation level of 0.439. In addition, the F analysis shows that the HDI variable statistically has a simultaneous significant influence on economic growth, while the determination coefficient of 19.2% shows that HDI is only a small part of the factors influencing economic growth in the region.
