Abstract
Bullying is a serious problem that often occurs in the orphanage environment, given the diverse backgrounds of the children and the complex development of social life. This study aims to analyze the group guidance strategy carried out by social workers in handling bullying cases at Karya Ramlam Orphanage, Medan Denai. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the group guidance strategy proved effective in increasing children's self-awareness, strengthening empathy, and reducing bullying behavior both verbally and physically. This strategy is implemented in four stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The social worker acts as a facilitator who creates an open atmosphere and supports children's active involvement in the group. In conclusion, group guidance can be an effective and sustainable alternative intervention to create a safe and healthy social environment for children in orphanages.
