KONTRIBUSI AJARAN TRI-N TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS IV

Abstract
This study aims to examine the contribution of the Tri-N teaching (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) to the development of reading skills among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kintelan 1. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and reading assessments. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Tri-N teaching has a positive impact on reading fluency, reading comprehension, as well as students' critical and reflective thinking skills. The niteni stage helps students understand texts with visual aids, nirokke enhances their ability to imitate proper reading models, while nambahi encourages students to develop ideas and express personal opinions. Thus, the Tri-N teaching is effective in supporting comprehensive literacy improvement and aligns with the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom in Learning) approach.
