Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pembelajaran PPKN yang kurang menarik karena metode konvensional seperti ceramah dan membaca buku teks, sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dan sulit memahami materi abstrak seperti hak dan kewajiban negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pop-up book interaktif pada materi Hak dan Kewajiban Negara di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa untuk uji coba skala kecil dan 30 siswa untuk uji coba skala besar di kelas IV SD. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test). Analisis data berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan materi serta uji efektivitas. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan media layak dari segi desain visual, interaktivitas, dan kesesuaian konten. Uji coba menunjukkan tingkat ketertarikan siswa 90%, kemudahan memahami konsep 92%, dan peningkatan minat belajar 93%. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep hak negara 20%, kewajiban negara 22%, dan hubungan timbal balik 24%. Dengan demikian, media pop-up book interaktif layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran PPKN kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.


This research was motivated by the problem of Civic Education learning that was less attractive due to conventional methods such as lectures and reading textbooks, making students less motivated and difficult to understand abstract materials such as state rights and obligations. This study aims to develop interactive pop-up book media on the material of State Rights and Obligations in grade IV Elementary School. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model. The research subjects were 20 students for small-scale trials and 30 students for large-scale trials in grade IV Elementary School. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test). Data analysis was based on validation by media and material experts as well as effectiveness testing. Expert validation results showed that the media was feasible in terms of visual design, interactivity, and content suitability. Trials showed student interest level of 90%, ease of understanding concepts 92%, and increased learning interest 93%. Effectiveness testing showed improvement in understanding of state rights concepts by 20%, state obligations 22%, and reciprocal relationships 24%. Thus, interactive pop-up book media is feasible and effective for use in grade IV Elementary School Civic Education learning.
