Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to explore the forms of conflict, causal factors, and conflict management strategies applied in SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. With a qualitative case study approach, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through direct observation and open-ended questionnaires submitted to the principals of teachers. The findings indicate that conflict in education is multidimensional, arising from interpersonal interactions, policies, and communication gaps. Conflict management strategies such as compromise, collaboration, and mediation are key to creating a harmonious school environment. Recommendations are directed at increasing the leadership capacity of principals and the preparation of systematic conflict management policies.
