Abstract
This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to examine the internal bureaucratic dynamics within the Student Representative Council (MPM) of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. The main focus is on vertical communication between members and structural officials in submitting organizational needs such as proposals, social media content, broadcasts, and delegation requests. Although procedures have been socialized through coaching and supported by platforms such as Workspace, TOC, and Trello, there are still challenges in members’ understanding of these processes. Findings from interviews and document analysis indicate that the core issue lies in suboptimal vertical communication. Therefore, this study highlights the need for improvements in internal communication systems to ensure that bureaucratic procedures run more effectively, efficiently, and are equally understood by all organizational elements.
