Abstract

All nations throughout the globe are experiencing the issue of climate change. The rise in the earth's temperature is primarily brought about by human actions, particularly the burning of fossil fuels. South Asia is one of the area’s most at risk from the effects of climate change, especially rising sea levels. Rising sea levels pose the greatest threat to the Maldives and Bangladesh due to their low elevation and archipelagic nature. The community's fears, as well as the nation's losses, are all part of this threat. This study seeks to examine the effects of rising sea levels on the living circumstances and survival of the populations of Bangladesh and the Maldives. In this research, the primary data source is secondary data, and the method is qualitative. This research discovered that the populations of Bangladesh and the Maldives have been directly impacted by rising sea levels. Increasing sea levels cause people to live in restrictions as well as fear.
