Abstract
Es Laksamana Mengamuk is a traditional beverage from Malay Riau culture, carrying significant historical and cultural values. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly forgotten, especially among younger generations. This study aims to reintroduce Es Laksamana Mengamuk as a cultural heritage through direct socialization efforts within the community. Using a qualitative approach, the researchers visited local communities to present the drink, explain its preparation process, and highlight its cultural significance. The findings show that direct and interactive engagement effectively raises public interest and awareness regarding the importance of preserving traditional culinary heritage. This initiative serves as a concrete step in maintaining local cultural identity through culinary preservation.
