Abstract
This article presents the methodology of the modern Islamic boarding school Al-amanah Junwangi in the division of roles for male and female students who still have gender bias. Gender bias in teaching can be a reality that occurs in an instructive framework that favors a particular gender that causes disparities in sexual orientation, so that serious efforts are needed to overcome it, namely through teaching mindfulness of sexual orientation. This question is about the use of a subjective approach of the phenomenological type with a single-location plan. The results appear; The framework of gender bias in the framework of the Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-amanah Junwangi specifically; The substance of the books observed tends to be less gender sensitive, the holes are caused by structural factors such as socio-cultural values, and financial problems, women's interests in preparing for making instructive choices and patriarchal culture.
