This article seeks to provide a thorough analysis of human rights, focusing on their implementation in Indonesia, the challenges to enforcement, and potential strategies for enhancing human rights protection at the national level. It begins by outlining the fundamental concept of human rights as the inalienable rights belonging to every individual, free from any form of discrimination. The discussion then delves into how these principles are enacted within Indonesia's legal and social framework, highlighting the development of pertinent regulations and institutions. Additionally, it addresses the significant obstacles that impede effective enforcement of human rights, such as structural and cultural issues, as well as limitations faced by law enforcement agencies. Lastly, the article puts forth strategic recommendations to bolster the safeguarding and promotion of human rights in Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of education, legal reforms, strengthening institutions, and fostering active participation from civil society.
