Abstract

Self-efficacy is an important psychological concept for understanding individual performance and achievement in various situations, including work, education, and health. A scale is needed to evaluate this concept appropriately. This study is a literature review with the aim to present various findings regarding self-efficacy scales from ten national and international journals in the last five years. The results showed that most of the scales used Rasch Model, CFA, and SEM with high reliability values. The self-efficacy scale is proven to be widely applicable and relevant for various populations. The development of self-efficacy scales needs to consider the population context, theoretical dimensions, and appropriate statistical approaches so that the measurement results are reliable and psychologically meaningful.
